Bizarre parallels

As soon as I saw THIS news story, I immediately remember I had seen it somewhere before. In a bizarre parallel, only months ago, a similar argument was raging across the US around the same thing. Conservatives were kicking up a fuss over the number of liberal college lecturers, leading to "witchunts" with students encouraged to report on their tutors and teachers being suspended for their politics, accused of anti-Americanism, and even a call for an "academic bill of rights".

Funny how these things go around.
